The AI therapy reserach has been going on for a while and AHZ has only spent $13m until now. $18m will take the RESEARCH quite a bit further.
Yes, taking to MARKET will cost significantly more. But they'll only take it to market if the research proves it to be worthwhile. If that happens then other sources of funding will be available for taking this to market.
