The following quote from the announcement shows just how little understanding or care factor they have for carbon neutrality. They are saying that by using renewable energy to run the reformer process that they don't need to store as much carbon underground. What a load of bollocks!

The co2 that is generated from making blue hydrogen from a fossil fuel comes from two sources

    1) by far the largest is the smr process to convert the gas/coal into hydrogen 10 - 20 tonnes of co2 per tonne of hydrogen. This is where they are supposed to store carbon from this process.

    2) the electricity to run the smr process - this is considerably smaller, and substituting renewable power here does not negate their responsibilities under the smr process

Also looks like your coal exploration tenement that you paid mega bucks for is dead and burried. What a waste of shareholder funds.

    Quote from announcement
"access to FRV Australia’s mix of renewable energy products to supply the power required for
Hexagon’s proposed hydrogen (clean Ammonia) production plant. This would see less CO2 generated
from Hexagon’s blue hydrogen production facilities, requiring less CCS, therefore lowering overall
    production costs for Hexagon’s projects."
