To be fair, they have given us approx the same us$65m for every 5% previously issued, adjustment for Mali increasing their stake and us only holding a total of 26% of the project.
The approx 8 months of time from end of October finalisation to June 25 should net us around an additional us$8.5m.
Ganfeng have previously been fair in the equation numbers so I don’t really have a worries about them fudging the numbers to pay us less. Additionally, the numbers will reflect Malis dues, and you know Mali loves to catch out a company incorrectly reporting numbers even if there’s nothing to see.
a long breath is required here, a forward plan would really only be in its infancy and I would hate to think they pulled the trigger just to get a project or direction on the books. You are right though, staffing scale backs need to happen asap as well as board restructure to reflect the new direction
