The Bank of Greenland are looking into the project, most credibly its financing. This is even pre ML. So western financing are showing interest already.
I suspect Shenghe are seeing other players eyeing off their prize so they are trying to demonstrate their keenness by upping what they are prepared to do to assure stakeholders of their future in sticking with them.
Who knows who could up the ante now.
GGG may not go with Shenghes offer. But Shenghe have sure made it look even more attractive to offering to remove pretty much all future hurdles. I hope this continues more so into a squabble of interest. Either way its all good as it just attracts more surety and interest, corporate or otherwise, that this project is a prize to be able to associate with.
