Plenty are confusing HPAL and their tailing dispsosals with NIC's RKEF ops. Completely unrelated.
The RKEF's produce a benign slag which can be used as road base/aggregates.
No leach tailings involved as its not a hydrometallurgical process but a pyrometallurgical porcess.
