In the absence of SAMR registration this is a sensible decision by Bubs to partner and manufacture China labeled formula in China for distribution to brick and mortar stores. They will continue to supply Australian manufactured English labeled formula to the China CBEC channel for those customers distrustful of local manufacture.

Unsure if having products manufactured in both Australia and China will do harm to the brand in the China market. Will be interesting if it does as The a2 Milk Company has also indicated the possibility of manufacturing China label in China. There’s an outside chance that future regulations in China may require it.
