There must be some award or a Guinness World Record for the most amount of work done prior to actually signing off take, financing and developing the mine - and as evidenced by the number of shares that have had to be issued by AVL and YRR, and the extraordinary amount of capital raises over more than two decades. This is epic. Bravo! Also to be applauded is the market has never actually ascribed a decent value to the project. Many other miners are able to bring forward the value and this allows the original investors to exit as reward for their support. In this case, we have to hold on right until the very end, an exquisite experience - and you also get to watch your mates have to exit AVL for personal financial reasons (after holding for nearly 10 years) for a poor return........and also buy in too high expecting this to be like an Aussie miner and make a return. Its a rare talent of AVL to continue to cause doubt and uncertainty in the market and to push this out for as long as possible. The day that Vanadium is actually extracted and shipped by AVL will be an amazing day - if I and others are still alive to see it.
This is the one of the most drawn out mining sagas in the Australian History of Mining, and should be recognised at the next Diggers and Dealers or World Mining Awards as such. I will buy Vincent a beer. Cheers!
