I agree with your thoughts there eastwest101 re the drilling location and getting to the limits of straight RC, particularly on the NW lode.
There might be a need to extend the use of HQ triple-tube – particularly in the core of the transitional chalcocite/chalcopyrite zones to limit core loss. Not a big concern just yet, just a couple of meters core loss in MHDD080 – but wouldn’t need many holes (given they are relatively deep) experiencing similar or slightly more core-loss and it starts to become relevant. Always difficult to get 100% core recovery in these broken partially weathered zones.

I think the purpose of MHRC076 being so close to existing pierce point is just a re-drill/test due to better understanding on what they are chasing? The existing pierce point (12m @ 1.9% Cu) was from MHRC009 - and was drilled back towards the southwest, so ~parallel with the edge of the NE-lode.
With MHRC076 and MHRC082 then being drilled towards the NW so more perpendicular intersection. But yes, not sure why MHRC082 is targeted so close up-dip from MHRC076.

There is still some ~235m untested between the mid-points of the MHDD083 and MHDD080 intersections and another ~145m from MHDD080 back up to MHDD077….so should keep them busy for a while filling the gaps. I like the planned extensional holes along strike on both sides of the NE and NW lodes, now that they've got the room to chase these.

Thanks, GeoFiji for previously mentioning HGO’s Kanmantoo Copper Project as a useful comparison of a small underground copper-gold mine. I know this was primarily mentioned as a potential example from an economical viewpoint – but I found it useful to also look at the scale/footprint as well just to put other economic variables into context. The image below shows the long sections from HGO Kavanagh underground and CNB’s Mt Hope Central at approx. the same scale. Clearly far too early, and much more drilling needed to know what the overall Mt Hope Central ore footprint will be…but its shaping up nicely with these large step outs.....and plenty of room to grow.
