    There is a little light peeking through for Australia and Australian stocks. The latest OECD report states that Australia will avoid recession despite global growth being fairly low and the likelihood of US and European recessions. I think the US markets are technically in a recession after last week.

    Notice what happened today (27th Oct) with the ASX breaking its lock-step fixation with US market results. The Australian federal treasurer 'finds' a very welcome $AU50 billion more than he expected thanks to robust mining exports that are predicted to continue.

    Who knows where US markets will go in the near future, but any sign of a bottom will hopefully trigger some normalisation for the share price of fundamentally sound stocks like CNB.
