I am thinking the Mt Hope Gap IP results seem to be teasing them with the idea of Mt Hope and Mt Hope North being connected or at least related somehow to the same mineralisation event, although holes 22, 54 & 56 not the best spacing to test it all out (probably due to local topography), and I am just starting to wonder if the series of faults/structures form some sort of deformed elipse or localized strain zone shape of high grade at surface if the historical diggings and the appearance of the bedding of the rock at surface is indicative with maybe a very deep Cu Sulfur source preferentially injecting the faults with high grade copper shown by fluid migration in the orange arrows? Especially where the faults intersect? My rough scribblings here, might pan out to be somewhat correct? Certainly looks like holes 37 and 34 got something pretty interesting but the only flaw in my theory is that holes 54 and 56 came up totally dead, so difficult to make predictions in geology.

I'm a fan of Burke & Wills but this cross section for BWCR030 was a bit of a bummer, in this section grade dropping off a cliff in the deepest hole BWRC041 compared to the hole up-dip, but BWCR029 further south still has some life in it....

Lots of other geology to unpack in this but some encouragement for the CNB punters.

@GeoFiji good to hear you have picked up a few CPM like me, once they get going I think they have some good ground as well, but CNB seem well ahead of them in drill progress so far.

The 1997 Queensland Minex exploration report said, "In the central part of the Mount Hope mining field, what appears to be a high level feldspar porphyry granite, intrudes the system." This corresponds to your deep conductor except that it is on surface in the Mount Hope North area just south of the workings. Carnaby have found the intrusive rocks at both Central and North Mount Hope and at the Gap.

Perhaps the elliptical fractures filled with quartz and copper-gold mineralisation are related to the intrusion punching through the crust and depositing mineral rich fluids in the resulting fractures as the intrusion cooled. Is there a copper porphyry at depth with zones of pyrite rich material creating the IP anomalies? Is the whole thing a giant pipe?

It will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
