The references to 'final engineering and design (FEED) work' for TIVAN are puzzling. The term FEED is normally used to refer to 'front end engineering and design' which is basic engineering and the more detailed engineering is referred to as detailed design or something along those lines. Pretty much standard terminology used in any resources/other construction project.
Either they don't know what the acronym FEED means or they are using the acronym for a different process for some unknown reason. Either way its not filling me with confidence.
The refinery EIS sound like its early days. I remember when the Mt Peake EIS was to be completed in the 'coming months', several years ago.
Not seeing 2018 as the year they are going to pull this together. Or maybe i'm just jaded and I've seen too many of these sorts of announcements to recognize when one is actually signaling progress...
