You put your hand up to admit you have been bagging Mr Burton... fair enough
....and then bag him again!!! Give us a break!

As @maxter pointed out in an earlier post.... The EIS was put together by the best consultant they found and TNG didn't waste time or money making it gold plated (covering every possible scenario). Looking at the EIS decision flow chart it is a normal step. Doubt this delay effects the overall time line much if at all. Regardless, delays should be expected with a project of this size.

Perhaps a question could be asked of the consultants.... i.e. Did they have the opportunity to plan their EIS submission with the relevant dept and identify this extra drilling and data was required in the EIS application?
