If we spent the last 5 years working towards middle arm on promises and major project status from the NT gov, just to find it's not an option at all, would we really spend another however many years exploring another option in NT?
Not me. Unless something major has genuinely changed in that time, which explains the backflip, then we have to look outside the NT. Somewhere where they have the appetite for this kind of project.
Fool me once and all that.
