The Browns lodged a 249D notice against the Board to remove the then Chairman Rex Turkington in late 2018.
just before eligibility closed to vote in the AGM, PB placed 10% of the Company to the Indian Group (I should remember the name but cant) at around a 20% discount thus ensuring they voted with Directors to narrowly avoid the successful 249D vote.
it was so obviously buying votes to win and the smug look on all their faces as they avoided any questions about accountability at the AGM was something to behold.
Rex then resigned a month later which made giving 10% of the company away at such a discount t even more stupid.
But As I’ve said many time PB couldn’t care less about retail shareholders so long as there’s enough money in the kitty to fund his company sponsored extravagant lifestyle
