I am with you all the way on this one, my friend. The only thing I would say is that I think you mean creditors (payables) when you say debtors, which are receivables.

I spent forty years in the footwear business and I would bet the house that the 'big brands' carried by Rivers are clearance parcels or parallel imports. There is no way that Nike or Puma or any of the big sporting brands would put their products into a business like that. There's a reason you can't buy those brands in Kmart of Big W: the brands maintain that they don't want their products in those sort of locations, but rather in specialist footwear and sporting stores.
