re: Ann: MQG: Macquarie offer to eligible uni... As long as by accepting the offer the unit holders dont have to relinquish the right to pursue Maccas for any further liability. What I suspect that Mr Byrnes and Mr Barrow are looking at are class actions relating to the issue of the securities. Mr Byrnes is currently looking for a small holder who subscribed for shares, preferably with Maccas advice, to head a class action. Interestingly, Maccas offer could take out such candidates.
