Fear, not so much in the tech, but in what the other guy might do, when they themselves are itching to get their money moving into something hotter. Just a mild softening of the heads, and the break-even thinking may kindle. Or not.
Momentum in either direction, drives the fear, and conversely the greed emotion. Impatience to down trend, and FOMO into an up trend are the two key emotions at play.
