Hi Croc, 30mil shares is only worth $780k at today's SP, when MRC agreed back in 2017, it formed the terms of the agreement, it doesn't matter if the SP was 1 cent of 50 cents, they get paid the same. this time its worked out in MRC shareholders favor.
To secure an additional 39% of the project for only $1.58mil, which has an NPV of US$111 mil is a bargain,
BTW, did you notice the interest rate on offer was only 15%? this is significantly lower than other companies interest rates for unsecured loans, I know WKT unsecured loan rate is over 21%.
