It's pretty funny our MVC fan club was advising not that long ago that MRC would lose the Skaland Graphite project to its minority shareholders. Yet the company has now agreed to take 100% ownership of the mine.
This is a brilliant outcome when you consider the minority shareholders were concerned MRC overspent on the annual budget (which made the mine better) and they wanted to be involved in the downstream battery anode development. The buyout for the additional 10% of the mine doesn't seem that bad at US$1.9mil.
