I’m glad I got out of this company for a small percentage loss unlike other investors in this company. Water prices if they stay how high they are, will kill this company. They are basically saying that they have no money to harvest the fruit and have walked with their hands out to NAB wanting cash. The stories I could tell about this company on here are horrendous and as soon as I heard one of the few I was out of it straight away. Like honestly, they keep on saying in their announcements to “fund future growth of the company” they shouldn’t be focusing on investing to grow the business, they should have enough revenue in order to make a profit, they either need to decide they are a processor or dried fruit grower, pay out as much debt as possible and whatever they decide perfect it, make a profit from it and then go into the other if it makes sense as a viable entity, that’s what I would do personally. they have just tried to grow too fast and this is most certainly going to go into liquidation within the next 12 months, I could see a company like SHV coming in and scooping this up as they could turn it around being in farming/food processing business and generating good returns from it as I can’t see them growing too much more in almonds and looking to get into other commodities. I personally wouldn’t put a cent into this cap raise either.
I’m glad I got out of this company for a small percentage loss...
