Horrible syndrome the red skin issue. It sounds like shingles which is very painful and debilitating. People can drop out of your orbit when ill, it's a combination of boredom and fear.
Being patronised on top of it is just ignorant. Some people won't eat chips or sweets in front of me, which is awkward and they refuse to understand I have no desire for them so eat away! It's drawing attention to the issue instead of being tactful. Plus by avoiding inflammatory foods I look young for my age...bonus!
It's a bit galling when I make an occasional error in here, which happens on bad days, and it has been extremely nasty at times as well.
But what you gonna do?
