Keep in mind that any partner in the US will have to pay substantially more than $US 20m upfront as we are well advanced into phase 3 FDA trials, with hundreds of millions in development cost already paid for.
If a US partner wants in on the program, they will need to suvstantially reimburse our development costs to date for the CHF program in the US.
The Chinese paid $US20m for the right to fully develop the program in China (will need to fund their own trials) and drive it through regulators - that’s a large sum of money we won’t need to pay. Yet we will get US$25m if approved in China, and double digit royalties... and escalating sales milestones.
All this and we don’t need to spend a dollar in China.
