While some will criticise the naysayers for their comments pertaining to a likely CR off the back of announcements like these …. take a step back for a minute and look at their logic or reasoning for the cynical comments ….
…… Mesoblast didn’t feel the need to announce it had ‘filed’ for an RMAT Designation for CLBP - the first shareholders knew about it was when Mesoblast actually received the FDA RMAT Designation on 9 Feb 2023 ….. why all of a sudden have Mesoblast felt the need to alert the market about these ‘filings’ ? Wouldn’t it be better to announce the awarding of said FDA ‘designations’ once (if) they were received ?
Perhaps Mesoblast have decided to step up their communication with the market or maybe these comments by some are in fact warranted …. who knows ? Maybe Mesoblast just wanted a good news story before the AGM tomorrow because at the moment they have nothing else ? Interesting to say the least, whichever way you look at it ….
