If the information in question is factually correct then, absolutely, it will definitely inform the investment decision to the extent that it is material.
How could it possibly not?
I think you under-estimate the value of a forum such as this.
I have avoided many a loss on a stock because someone whose less-than-favourable insights did not accord with my own positive view; and after I had properly researched and evaluated those insights and found them to be valid.
But if I had not been made aware of them I would have been ill-informed and with my capital at greater risk than I first thought.
