This has been covered so many times and is making me sick to the stomach that some misanthropes keep bringing it it back.
Acute graft vs host disease has about a 35% mortality rate after 12 months. More than 1 in 3 WILL die. To conduct a RCT for this cohort of patients is not only unethical it is patently inhumane and thoroughly irresponsible.
So yeah, let’s deny potentially life saving treatment to a placebo group shall we? When we already have 4 year survival data?
Spare me. And the proponents who are running out of arguments to promote their BS smear campaign of MSB should hang their heads in shame….
