Hancock doesn't own 51% of Legacy, Just the Mt Bevan Project JV.
2019 NMDC got to about 76% of LCY with FIRB approval. Commented that they may look at 100% ownership and delist in the future because of compliance expenditure costs.
Having now about 93% and the potential project and the Mt Celia gold mine, they don't need retail and can do a compulsory aquisition takeover if they wish and FIRB and shareholders probably can't do a thing because of their 93% ownership.
I think LCY may also be on HAW's top 20 holders with possibly around 12.5 million shares.
