I've read his posts about some loony conspiracy, why would I need to know his background? Explain how the comment is misguided. A whole theory was created based on wrong information going so far as to e-mail the company to complain.

Credit Suisse is not manipulating here, they are a Prime Broker. You will see these notices on stocks that come out with large anns and big volume days because the traders on their platform are trading that particular stock, which results in them becoming sub-holders.
