Always great to hear news about the strong and developing relationship between Masan Hi Tech and EQR. These guys entered into this MOU back in April 2023 with the stated intention of sharing technical information.

Since then there has been much sharing of said information but more importantly the two companies have had many high level meetings with respective Prime Ministers, Ambassadors etc at various get togethers such as G20 and ASEAN all of which have taken place in an environment of strategic critical mineral alliances.

Concurrently, the larger Masan Group have been making some strategic changes to their business model and it is becoming clear that MHT want to continue to go down the path of downstream processing (R&D etc for specific industries) and step away from the tungsten supply side.

Which is where EQR comes in - with 2 successfully producing mines and a 3rd soon to kick off, EQR are positioning themselves brilliantly to be a critical part of the supply solution that MHT will rely on into the future.

There is definitely an opportunity here, as part of EQR's growth strategy, to grow and expand - will be interesting to see exactly what form and shape it will play.
This is a space to watch very closely
