Exactly, we have a very minimal environmental footprint, and, as a currently producing mine, it is already on the record that we have total community support.
.The 4Corners program about the King Island Dolphin project is another matter altogether – the pit is currently being drained into Bass Strait which is ok as the water is ph neutral but they are planning to extend the existing pit both west and also east and into Bass Strait as well as establish a project plant on the south side of the pit - how this is likely to effect the marine environment, I dont know
.But, this will be a big big move and could very likely attract the attention of the Bob Brown Foundation and their teams of tree huggers - hopefully not for the sake of shareholders, but in the interests of total awareness, I would want it to be considered as a risk to the project.
