The supply indirectly affects stock prices because the price may come down if supply outstrips demand and a better deal is struck with another supplier and you don't have strong enough customer relationships etc.
But my post isn't about GXY being invulnerable in the market. It is pointing out that the information which would indicate that systematic profits of lithium companies are being adversely affected so much as to reflect the SP drops seen today is simply not there right now and therefore could not be attributed as a cause for the SP action.
