The share prices of a company is not only a reflection of how well the company is doing at the moment but it is also a reflection of how well people feel that it will do in the future. Even though you say there is no concrete evidence that there is a slowdown in the demand for lithium, as long as investors believe that there will be one, the share price will fall.
