The main component of a brine operation is the chemistry of the resource.
You can't make a silk purse if you haven't got the willing worms.
Next is the plant itself.
Jiangsu's carbonate plant - ill-timed misadventure that it turned out to be - is still the blue print for Galaxy.
The high quality of the deposit at Sal de Vida takes care of the first part.
The working knowledge of what went wrong at Jiangsu ( inc. pipes built from incorrect materials etc leading to accidents, intermittent power issues) and what they would do differently this time is the home-grown knowledge that Galaxy is already equipped with for the plant design and construction stage.
They've made this clear enough. They aren't starting at square 1.
Jiangsu was in operation for at least a couple of years.
The thing in between resource and plant are ponds and pipes.
btw: SQM apparently have been running since they opened with the same pair of pipes into their salar, with a pair of back-ups.
Not disagreeing with you that we still don't know how A gets to B with SDV.
But - there isn't a lithium company outside the Big (4,5,6) that has the same amount of experience of concentrate and carbonate production.
