I'm not so sure I agree about the waiting for a superior offer bit.
How superior do you think it would have to be to beat his royal haul of GXY shares and a director job? I just don't see how he would let this one potentially slip or play games unless it was crazy good.

Plus - any higher offer from GXY goes to all GMM share-holders regardless of whether they have accepted or not.

I'm still surprised that this was how they did the deal and that he could be the General of General Mining without being the one out the front shouting "charge"...
