hi @aneeso
This GMM announcement has most of what you are asking.
http://www.generalmining.com/pdf/asx_releases/19_07_2016/GMM273 2016-07-19 Mt Cattlin update.pdf
As per this document 19/7
A larger circuit has now been put in place to expand production - double the rate at which it opened in March.
1.6mta is what it should be currently running at.
The new circuit has a 2.4mta output at peak 75% recovery
1.6mta represents 50% recovery.
75% recovery has been set as mid 2017 target.
I would expect the company now to shift financial focus shift to the new assets rather than significantly expand Mt Cattlin within the next couple of years - so those numbers would reasonably remain in place for the near term, as far as I am aware.
Blasting commenced in April as soon as the mine opened.
From memory I believe they had 400kt of blasted ore when the mine re-opened.
They now have 100kt ore on the ROM pad.
50kt of coarse milled TSF ore is awaiting a final run through the fines circuit.
There have also been currently unspecified cost reductions with the new circuit.
Although the new circuit has been improved for Tantalum recovery we have yet to receive, as far as I am aware, of any info as to first sales, prices or amount of the product. To be honest - I can't remember the last time it was even mentioned and I often forget that we even make the stuff.
Hope this helps.
