Hi Wack,

Grade is just as important as tonnage when considering low grade.

0.5 percent is good enough at shallow depths at current copper prices. Anything less than 0.5 is only going to be economical at current copper prices. If copper were to drop, not saying it will it would make the deposit far from being economically viable.

0.2% is the lowest copper cut off grade of any deposit I have seen so far.

Unless you have a monster porphyry and I mean monster porphry deposit such as CVV, than 0.3 percent may be economical but borderline. Especially when you consider the strip ratio of such a low grade deposit.
