Yep - I remember at the time that every announcement from Little Duke there was a new and different interpretation to the geology in cross section, and they persisted in drilling on the same section updip and downdip and maybe still never got a proper handle on the geology at Little Duke.
When you have multiple drill holes near the same cross section and the geology and ore grade intercepts don't make any sense, you usually know that the geology is complex, or that the mineralisation cross cuts or is unconfomrable or discontinious, and/or something is wrong with your drill hole placement or orientation that makes the geology look more complex/confusing than it is. Better off stepping along strike, doing some mapping and/or drilling a few select diamond core holes to figure out whats going on before blasting away with more drilling that may be poorly targeted.
Little Duke is all inferred, because they haven't figured out the geology yet and its all a bit "arm wavy", this is a shame because the Little Duke and Evening Star area with sulphide copper and gold probably has some of the best exploration potential in what is fairly prospective ground.
