    Below is the LME stockpiles which have reduced from 5.5kt to 3.2kt since 1 October (-40%), there hasn’t been a net increase in inventory since 18th November.

    The second chart is PT Timah’s production - last years largest producer. They’ve gone from producing around 70ktpa (17.5ktpq) to 40ktpa (10ktpq). This hasn’t flown through sales as yet as they’ve liquidated some inventory but my calcs are they’ve all but depleted their stocks. Taking 30ktpa out of a 350ktpa market is nearly 10% of supply. Who’s watching this?
