Aditya Birla held both nifty and gunpowder (Mt Gordon) under the Paterson Copper company. They sold gunpowder in Sept 2015 to EMR and subsequently sold Paterson Copper (which incl Nifty) to MLX in August 2016. MLX get the contingent payment of $10m.
