There is no justification for the magnitude of this sell off other than US gold stocks got hammered overnight and the Algos took advantage of that and the announcement. Algo traders have totally destroyed markets. Throw in BTC which has become a mechanism for reaping wealth and I'm glad I'm in my twilight years.
