the high grade from Penny has helped with the AISC numbers but with penny depletion the replacement of the production profile is from Roe Rebecca which is far less attractive due to lower grades.
There is also barely anything in the <$200mil market cap explorers to acquire anything from and smaller cap gold explorers have been in a horrific bear market and haven't been able to properly advance their projects. They are mostly garbage and nothing that offers any synergies with current production hubs.
This was always going to be a major problem for the gold explorers and it's getting worse. no discoveries being made at all because MR market hates gold explorers. which is bad for RMS because RMS has generally been very sharp with acquisitions.
