Why are Crescat an interested party?
My speculation is that Crescat will be taking up a decent chunk of that $8m being raised by Smartset as a part of this deal. Basically, I speculate the deal is good to go finance wise and just waiting for all the approvals - Australian mining lease transfer to overseas owner, TSXV etc etc.
Best part is GBZ are so cashed up due to White Dam positive cash flow, Milo Sale, Mayfield sale, liquidation of NOVO shares and loyalty oppies that we don't need to sell these Smartset shares. We can ride the copper hype with some exposure and ideally liquidate as needed into 2023 to avoid a CR at hopefully even more than $10m value!
