market was expecting only 33.75K OZ this QTr on average with 45% this half 55% next half as per previous announcement guidance of 150K
The announcement this morning is showing they have done very well in July with operational improvements and they are getting better grade which was a big concern.
To have now done 16188K in July means perhaps they may get to the upper end of guidance by year end. This is positive imo
It is also positive because AUD POG is also doing well this QTR so far and there is nothing worse than a high gold price and a company not able to take advantage of it due to operational difficulties etc.
This announcement is positive imo, eases some concerns about do they have the gold, put it together with the resent drilling results - there is better clarity.
Now they have started these updates, hopefully they keep them coming to rebuild investor confidence
