Dsb55, certainly was a one off, I got 70 to 90km wind constant for around 2 hours with a 102km peak. Never had wind swirl like it also.

Just down the hill in Upper gully, a bit of wind and same in boronia.

We still have no power after a week.

My brother is certifying trees, 100 need to go on the tourist Rd alone, plus there are hundreds over homes that will fall if not out also.

Will take a few months to fix the damage as some trees need cranes or helicopters to remove them.

Big bucks then, 20 to 30k a big tree. Unfortunately up here, they have let the place over grow, there is no tree Managment by councils hardly.

Soon we get fire season, it's prime if we get a hot one to have bigger troubles than this.

Anyways I'm one of the luckier ones as no damage.

I just wish tnr would fire up like the wind we had.
