The internal public pressure in Russia is mounting. History has shown that Putin is not reallly all that fussed on public opinion but it doesnt make his administration immue to its effects. I personally don't see him pushing further than Ukraine (for now). What I worry about is if they are are able to weather the sanction storm and be seen to have been, in some way victorious... that sets and example. Lets just say I wouldnt want to be Taiwan in that case. China will also be the key to Russias economy making it through this period - they are thier largest trading partner by far and doubt they care too much at all for human rights in Ukraine.
Regardless, I don't see anything on the horizon thats pusging oil or gold down
