I suspect as an insurance policy incase the grades were strong.
A very telling sign that none of us picked up was GAL's lack of interest in drilling further south. I rationalized it with GAL don't need to because the JV will drill it but I suspect now that decision was made with greater understanding of where they need to prioritize.
