Correct but based on amounts (small amount of acid in large amount of water equals small exothermic reaction) and time (the initial reaction is quick in the minutes, then the heat will drop off quickly there after)there is no way it will maintain heat for 24hrs let alone power turbines.
Happy to be proven wrong if you can put up some real data, but to be honest it sounds fanciful.
