Amigos, drill core and chips can be scanned with a portable X-Ray Fluroscence (pXRF) machine, which should be able to identify some key rare earth metals, however the levels/grades are not as accurate as assays. So what does a company do? Give out an early announcement with visuals and pXRF estimates, or wait for a month or two to give the assays?
