Then they also have technical director, Dr Benjamin Grguric - he's a serious expert on this type of geology. Has many years of experience at BHP etc. Not sure why you continue to try to down ramp as you hold - DYOR - this is a tremendous company - all IMHO of course.

Biography

I am an Australian geological/mineralogical consultant (Mineralium Pty Ltd) based in Perth.

I completed my BSc (Hons) on Cu-Co mineralisation at the University of Adelaide in 1992 and my PhD on experimental determination of phase relations in the Cu-Fe-S system at the University of Cambridge in 1998.

For most of my career I have held senior technical, management and research positions in mining and exploration companies including WMC, BHP, Norilsk Nickel Australia, and Western Metals.

In 2016-17 I held the position of Head of Earth Science at the South Australian Museum.

I currently serve on the Editorial Board of Australian Journal of Mineralogy, and am a Research Associate at the Western Australian Museum.

Research

My main area of research is characterisation of hydrothermal and magmatic ore deposits at the macro to micro scale. A focus area has been the influence of hypogene and supergene fluids on mineralogy of Ni-Cu sulfide deposits, including experimental simulation of hypogene overprints on sulphide assemblages. Other research areas are:

• The phase relations of economically important sulfide systems, and sulfide replacement processes.
• Exploration targeting and evaluation of exploration programmes.
• Geometallurgy, the link between ore deposit geology and mineralogy and processing of ores.
• Documentation of mineral deposits and occurrences, with a particular focus on Western Australia and South Australia.
• Characterisation of new mineral species, in collaboration with Australian and international museum and CSIRO researchers.
