So I spoke with my metallurgist connection on Friday after we launched a $8m capital raising for his ASX-listed coy during the week.
He said he is watching the WMG story closely and in essence said they are still on track to drill out a multi-hundreds million tonne monster.
He said for him the strip ratio will be critical and if they do find a high grade Perseverance-style core that will probably be were the mining will start.
Mt Keith is the analogue (obviously) and this is starting to look a little like Mt Keith (albeit, we need to get the grades up a little).
If we do have a Mt Keith on our hands WMG has 100X upside potential.
Earlier in the year he said Mulga Tank is far more likely to get into production than Gonneville and he still holds this view.
