I sure hope for your sake that PTR will find an "ore body".

Thank you for letting HC readers know that rock is harder than sand.
So what ? At this stage PTR should focus on finding the high grades. So should you.

My proposition is that the Eromanga Sea has created a situation where it is almost certain that the TiO2 was brought to surface in an intrusion far far away from Mulgathing. It was brought to this area via inflows to the Eromanga Sea, then shaken and stirred in the waterbody, finally settling well sorted, well graded, in the depressions on the sea floor. Exactly the same process you would see on a concentrate shaker table. The deposits in the depressions will be uncompressed, since they formed in water. Possibly as dense as a sand, clay, or mud. Certainly not an igneous rock.

The high TMI RTP areas are an indication of the presence of Magnetite, a partially oxidised Iron Oxide, a brownish to black rock. Iron Oxides deposited in water can be expected to be fully oxidised (red) and therefore have low TMI RTP.

I find it remarkable that the defining feature of the surface geology here, the Eromanga Sea, is never considered by PTR.
